These 2-way systems were designed for those who want the ultimate performance but are looking for a discreet tweeter. The compact design of the MT450 tweeter allows users the option to place the speaker in most factory locations, or into space-limited areas using the supplied mounts. It may be small in size, but the MT450’s Acuflex coated silk dome, open cavity design and dual neodymium magnet motor give it amazing detail and a silky-smooth, flat frequency response.

 The Elate Carbon would not be complete without exercising their power. Whether using a 5.25”, 6.5” or 9-inch system, each of the woofers feature Klipple optimized EVC motors with large 3-inch diameter voice coils and carbon fiber/Rohacell sandwich cones for ultra-low distortion and high power handling levels.

ELATE CARBON WOOFER

Not all drivers are created equal, and the visually inspiring Elate Carbon woofers were developed with next level performance in mind. These new drivers get their Carbon moniker from their triple layer cones from which they are derived, consisting of two layers of carbon fiber sandwiching a Rohacell foam core. These proprietary cones were developed to give them incredible stiffness, high damping and light weight—the trifecta for cone performance.

Paired with a large 3-inch diameter Hexatech aluminum voice coil, titanium former, and Morel’s EVC motor technology, the Elate Carbon achieves remarkable control and low distortion.  which translates to highly transparent and bass-rich sound reproduction.

The new generation Elate tweeter offers unrivalled high frequency performance in a compact design with incredible high power handling capabilities and very low distortion levels. Known as the MT-450, its design leverages Morel’s signature Acuflex coated 28mm soft dome, open cavity design, and dual neodymium motor technologies. While its size allows it to be fit into most factory locations, their chrome ringed surface and flush mount options provide an elegant look fitting for modern vehicles.
